Medicare Part C is also known as Medicare Advantage. This plan provides benefits from private insurance companies that have been approved by Medicare. In comparison to Medicare A & B, Part C is much more comprehensive and includes additional benefits not offered by Parts A and B. People with Medicare Part C are entitled to the same rights and benefits as any other Medicare patient.
Combines coverage for hospital care, doctor visits, and other medicals services all in one plan (covers everything Part A and Part B cover) plus some additional benefits, such as routine eye
and dental care. Some Advantage plans also include a drug plan, which is an add-on at additional cost with Medicare Parts A and B.
